Hi everyone,
I rowed and sculled in college 30 years ago and am returning to the sport. I'd like to pick up a relatively inexpensive, durable recreational single that I will trailer. I've been looking at the Alden Star 22, the Maas Aero, and the Echo Classic or Sport. I don't know that I'll be able to find demo boats to row before I buy, so I'm looking for any tips or experienced guidance to help me in my search. I'm also open to other brands/models too.
I don't need a racing single, but I also don't want to row a dock. Thanks for any thoughts you can share.
