Hi, everyone. I'v only ever rowed in a canoe but I'm interested in indoor rowing as an exercise. How exactly does one go about that? I've been picturing in my head making rowing motions with the oar while indoors but somehow I don't think that's all it entails.
First you need access to a rowing machine. Your options are to find a local rowing club or gym with rowing machines or to buy a rowing machine to use at home. Form is important when rowing both indoor and outdoor. Your back should be flat, your head should be forward and your stomach should be tight.
