Rowing safety

Other than the obvious, which is drowning, what are the kinds of accidents I can get by engaging in the sport? Is there a big danger level or am I being just plain chicken? (which I am not...)

I would think that in Rowing it would be exactly the same thing like in any other outdoor and /or indoor activity. Be careful and think before you do something. Then all can be save. I did in the past some rowing with kayaks and regular boats, and nothing happened.
So, just do it, Start rowing and don't be .....

You are vulnerable to injury in any sport but some sports are more prone to causing injury than others. Rowing would be low down on the list when compared to other sports. Warm up thoroughly to prevent any muscle strains and take the necessary precautions if you are going on a trip.
