Training Frequency


I've been experimenting with different training frequencies in the past few months. I started with a high frequency program training doing 6 sessions per week. I then lowered the frequency to 2 sessions per week. Intensity was adjusted according to frequency and I decided I was better suited to 2 sessions per week.

How often do you train? Do you experiment?
This is one where you really do just have to listen to your body. Of course it really varies depending on where you are in regards to your overall training, and certainly as you go you can afford to be a little more strenuous. I would say just get yourself into a good routine that does not overwork you, but you still feel enough to make a different. Stick with it, too, and I bet you might just surprise yourself a little bit. Thanks for sharing.
